Kulthida Songkittipakdee is one of the most influential female architects in Thailand, internationally recognized for merging rigorous architectural research with poetic spatial narratives rooted in Asian urban conditions and contemporary ecological thinking. She was the first Asian architect selected by the Renzo Piano Foundation to collaborate at the Renzo Piano Building Workshop, and she is currently the principal architect of Jenchieh Hung + Kulthida Songkittipakdee / HAS design and research, an architectural firm that establishes a design language that is contemporary while remaining deeply rooted in place and climate. She also serves as vice president of The Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage, honorary professor at Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering, and visiting professor at Chulalongkorn University.
