Jenchieh Hung is a renowned architect, educator, and curator, recognized for his experimental and sustainable approach to contemporary architecture. He is the principal architect of Jenchieh Hung + Kulthida Songkittipakdee / HAS design and research, an award-winning architectural firm based in Bangkok. His international standing is reflected in his appointment as the first architect from Thailand to serve as a juror for the Royal Institute of British Architects – RIBA International Awards. Alongside his professional practice, he serves as a distinguished professor, visiting professor, and adjunct professor at leading institutions, including King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Tongji University, Chulalongkorn University, and the World University of Design. His work explores the evolving relationship between nature, materials, culture, climate, and urban transformation.
