LAUFEN x DesignDays.Berlin 2026

From September 24 to 26, 2026, DesignDays.Berlin will make its debut in the German capital as a new design platform. Marking 20 years of Berlin as a UNESCO City of Design, the new platform brings together professionals, creatives and design enthusiasts to experience the diversity of Berlin’s design scene across interior design, architecture, craftsmanship and design.

As Presenting Partner, LAUFEN will support DesignDays.Berlin with a series of selected formats, from the Opening Dinner and an exclusive Speakers & Architects Lunch to the DD.B Summit. At the same time, Berlin Gallery will open its doors to visitors throughout the Design Days.

September 23: VIP Opening Dinner at THE MAIN

On the eve of the official opening of DesignDays.Berlin, LAUFEN will kick off the design week together with Berlin’s design community. As Presenting Partner, LAUFEN is supporting the DD.B VIP Opening Dinner at THE MAIN.

The evening will bring together invited guests from the worlds of design, architecture, media and the creative industries, providing an inspiring setting for personal encounters, exchange and new perspectives.

September 25: Speakers & Architects Lunch at Berlin Gallery

Design thrives on dialogue. That is why, on September 25, Berlin Gallery will become a meeting place for the speakers and architects taking part in DesignDays.Berlin.

At the exclusive DD.B Speakers & Architects Lunch, LAUFEN invites guests to connect and exchange ideas. Designed by Konstantin Grcic, the Berlin Gallery is an ideal setting for this kind of encounter: far from a conventional showroom, it is a platform for presentation, experimentation and dialogue — and a place where customers, designers, architects, craftspeople and creative thinkers can come together.

September 25: DD.B Summit with Yves Behar

In the afternoon, LAUFEN will continue its role as Presenting Partner of the DD.B Summit. From 4:00 to 6:30 pm, MOKKA*MILCH on Karl-Marx-Allee will become a hub for exchange, fresh ideas and discussions about the future of design.

One of the highlights for LAUFEN will be the participation of Yves Behar in one of the panel discussions. The internationally acclaimed designer and founder of fuseproject combines design with innovation and social responsibility. Together with LAUFEN, he has developed, among other projects, VOLTA — a collection that explores a new relationship between water, form and responsible ceramic production.
