Barcelona Design Week 2026 kicks off at Roca Barcelona Gallery!
On October 14th, Roca will host the opening event of Barcelona Design Week, organised by the Barcelona Creativity and Design Foundation. It will be a space for celebration and connection for Barcelona’s creative community, marking the beginning of the 21st edition of Barcelona Design Week.
We will be joined by Matteo Battiston, Chief Design Officer at EssilorLuxottica, and Marc Viardot, Corporate Marketing and Design Director at ROCA GROUP, for a conversation focusing on the early stages of the design process as a space for exploration, testing and discovery: PRO-TEST. The discussion will explore how testing, questioning and reformulating ideas can help move beyond preconceived solutions and turn prototypes into tools for learning, identifying opportunities and opening up new creative possibilities.
As every year, after an inspiring conversation, the celebration will begin.
