On 17 September at 7:00 pm, Arquitectura Música · Músicxs Arquitectxs returns!
Don’t miss a new edition of this interdisciplinary series, organised in collaboration with Figueras Seating at Roca Barcelona Gallery.
The title of this session moderated by Felix Arranz will be “Variations”.
Under this theme, the session will bring together three projects that explore the close relationship between architecture, music and the performing arts from different contemporary approaches.
Jorge Vidal will present the project it is developing together with the Paris-based studio Bruther for the renovation of the Sant Jordi Club, in Barcelona’s Olympic area.
Manel Bosch will share the design and construction process of the Girona Auditorium and Conference Centre, developed together with Jordi Bosch and Joan Tarrús.
For their part, Maite Hernando and Sara Galmán from Gdmas arquitectura i urbanisme will present the transformation of the former Philips industrial complex into Espai Graner, a centre dedicated to dance, live arts and the languages of the body.
Three interventions that, in the manner of musical variations, will showcase different ways of approaching the dialogue between heritage, the city, architecture and music.
The session will conclude with an intimate recital by Nicolás Coll Leclerc, musician and future architect, who will close the evening with a repertoire of… variations!
