As part of Barcelona Design Week, Roca Barcelona Gallery, in collaboration with ECOcero Acoustic Design, invites you to join a conversation exploring what happens behind the final outcome of a project: research, materials, processes, technology, constraints, experimentation and the decisions that transform an idea into a design capable of improving people’s experience and creating value.

• Aldo Sollazzo, Founder and CEO of Noumena Group, will explore material innovation and advanced manufacturing, from the development of new materials to the possibilities of 3D printing applied to design and architecture.
• Clara Rius, architect and Managing Partner at AHEAD Barcelona Healthcare Architecture, will approach design from the perspective of people and their experience, exploring how spaces influence our perception and well-being.
• Xavier Vilalta, architect, Founder and Director of Vilalta Studio, will share his perspective on sustainability and innovation, focusing on the relationship between design, nature and the environment.
• Muriel Bourgeay, architect and Project Manager at ECOcero, will address materiality and acoustic design as elements capable of transforming comfort and the experience of spaces.

Through real-life projects and experiences, the conversation will trace the journey from idea to reality: what shapes a project, how experimentation and the decisions made throughout the process can transform it, what happens when design begins to be experienced by people, and what new challenges the future may bring.
