Tanja Heuchele leads her independent studio in Barcelona, building and accompanying cultural institutions. Her work begins with listening. Trained as a translator and interpreter, with a thesis on nonverbal communication, she pays attention to what is said between the lines – in the profiles and long-form conversations she writes, and on stage, where she has moderated for Art Basel, Barcelona Design Week and Haus der Kunst. She co-founded a&o Kunsthalle Leipzig and was Editorial Director of nomad magazine.
