Marisa Santamaría is a researcher, writer, curator and professor specialising in contemporary social and cultural movements in global design. Founder of the Global Design & Innovation Trends Unit, she works across Milan, Madrid, Paris and Copenhagen, combining research with strategic design and design thinking consultancy for international companies and institutions. Since 2022, she has served as Talents and Trends Forecaster and Brand Ambassador for Maison&Objet Paris. She teaches at Poli.Design–Politecnico di Milano, ETSAM–UPM and IE School of Architecture and Design, and has curated exhibitions including Woman x Woman: Design in Transition, CAN Design and 10 Designers Against Cancer. Her writing has appeared in El País, AD, ELLE Decoration and IFDMagazine.
